More About Elaine

Elaine was raised in Rochester, New York. She and her husband, Paul, were high school sweethearts who got to see the world thanks to Paul’s Air Force career. She has a BS in Accounting from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida, and a MS in Management from Troy State University.  She and Paul have one daughter, Amy, working at the University of Idaho and one fabulous grandson, Nathan. 

As a retired Department of Defense Chief Financial Officer, Elaine’s career as a government civilian had her managing billions of dollars and spending a lot of time on Capitol Hill and in the Pentagon, supporting the best and bravest men and women in all branches of the military. (Oh, the stories I could tell!) 

She never lost sight of those who were struggling with day to day living and believed God would steer her to the place she was meant to be after retirement. The Pacific Northwest feeds her soul and Charity Reimagined gives her the vessel to pursue her passion – seeing potential in every person and helping them reach it and connecting with other organizations working to do the same.
